SAVOR is a café dedicated to serving Richmonders with great coffee
and teas, delicious food, and professional service in a comfortable,
friendly environment.
At SAVOR, Chef Ellie Basch and her staff create delicious,
health-minded fares for breakfast, lunch and monthly beer and wine dinners. All of
our menu items are made on site, or brought in fresh from local bakers
and vendors. The Flour Garden bakes our breads and Rostov's Coffee and Tea roasts and blends our coffees. We purchase most of our produce at local
farmers' markets, and we tailor our daily specials and dinner menus
based on the local seasonal availability.
While Rostov's supplies
our rich drip coffees and tea, SAVOR is pleased to announce our
partnership with Counter Culture Coffee for our espresso beans.
Located in Durham, NC, Counter Culture and SAVOR are a perfect fit,
both being committed to social responsibility, sustainability and
producing the highest quality product possible while being good
stewards of our local community. Visit their website: www.counterculturecoffee.com to learn more.
In addition to supporting local businesses, SAVOR works to be
environmentally responsible, by using real china and flatware in our
dining room, compostable disposable products (offered locally by www.shopgreenduck.com) , composting our kitchen
and paper scraps, reusing and recycling whenever possible. When
searching for a location, we chose to open in "recycled" refurbished
buildings - buildings that have found new purpose in their life. To
find out more about our location, please follow this link to the
Corrugated Box Building: www.corrugatedboxbuilding.com.
We encourage our friends and patrons to support our efforts in
helping the environment, please feel free to bring your own coffee cup
and receive a 10 cents discount off your coffee.
